  This placement would suit... Someone wishing to work overseas and gain valuable learning experience, while staying in a world class tourist location and fully immersing themselves in a wonderful country and diverse culture.

Many of our tourism establishments offer a very unique countryside experience. These smaller hotels or guest houses are usually in the outer areas some distance from the major cities. Properties are mostly owner managed and guests are regular visitors to the area. These placements offer a wonderful intimate experience and the opportunity to really get to know the people and the true countryside of South Africa.

Work & Travel South Africa offers volunteer work in tourism and hospitality positions in private game reserves, safari lodges, coastal resorts and boutique hotels.  Placements at tourism establishments in scenic locations and areas of natural beauty. 

Placement options in the city of Cape Town famous for its beautiful beaches and cosmopolitan vibe, the majestic Garden Route with its natural beauty and unspoiled coastline, and game reserves in the Greater Kruger Park area boasting prolific wildlife in pristine African bush! 

Volunteers receive live-in accommodation, all meals, a monthly personal allowance and ample time to travel and explore the region.  No experience needed as positions range from entry level to management. 

Volunteers receive a completion certificate and the opportunity to experience South Africa as more than a tourist! 
We have different game lodges located in pristine African wildlife areas. Most properties are in private game reserves, many of which border on the Greater Kruger National Park, and offer unbeatable wildlife safaris to their exclusive clientele.

This four star Country House is a tranquil haven in a corner of country paradise; yet close enough to all the must see attractions of Cape Town. Guests are offered bed and breakfast accommodation and a combination of charm, character, comfort and true country living.

This fine establishment is situated in the picturesque country village of Noordhoek which is in the center of the Cape Peninsula National Park. Guest can savor the spectacular natural beauty of the Cape while enjoying activities such as bird watching in the National Park, or whale watch from the nearby Atlantic Ocean coastline.

Alternatively, guest may experience the freedom of horse riding in the surf along Long Beach, Noordhoek's seven kilometer stretch of beach.

A mere stone's throw away are some of the Cape's most famous beaches offering a myriad of activities including swimming, surfing, diving, deep sea fishing and sea kayaking... not to mention the many hiking and mountain biking trails.

All modern conveniences - restaurants, shops, banks, cinemas and modern fitness center are within walking distance. This country retreat is near the Constantia Winelands, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and of course Table Mountain.
