Argentina

Are the only things you’ll know about Argentina that we went to war with them once and they have good steak? If that's the case, sit back and let us elaborate...
As the seventh largest country in the world (yes, it really IS that big) Argentina has a diverse landscape and climate, and has something to offer everyone. If you like culture and big cities, Buenos Aires is a bustling metropolis home to over a third of the country’s population and is the birthplace of Tango, the final resting place of Evita and has more statues than you can shake a stick at. Of course, you have to get up to see these sights, which might be quite hard when you only got in at 8am, having been out til the wee hours.
If nature is more your thing, you’ll love this beautiful country. A tropical climate near the borders to Brazil and Paraguay offers all things rainforesty, including the afore mentioned Iguazú falls, a spectacular sight that beats Niagara. On the other end of the temperature scale there is the incredible Perito Moreno glacier in Patagonia (bits fall off!) and all sorts of extreme sports are offered up and down the Andes, including hiking up Aconcagua, South America’s highest peak.
